Belgian sovereigns to fly to Denmark

March 9, 1928

For the "first time in history," the Belgian king and queen "will travel by air" when they fly to Copenhagen for an official visit to Denmark. King Albert I has "directed that the entire royal party" journey "by planes in a single flight," the New York Times reports today.
The official delegation will include King Albert and Queen Elisabeth, and their two younger children, Prince Charles and Princess Marie José, as well as the king's staff and his equerry.
