Danish sovereigns arrive a day in London

December 1, 1925

King Christian X and Queen Alexandrine of Denmark arrived today in London tonight, twenty four hours late. The delay was due to their ship, the Esberg, which ran aground in Esberg Harbor in Denmark, reports the New York Times.

The Danish sovereigns will be staying at a West End hotel. On Wednesday, they will travel to Sandringham in Norfolk to visit King George and Queen Mary.
